Clash Mini launches for iOS and Android in Ireland
Developer Supercell has launched its highly anticipated strategy board game-like entry into the beloved Clash series, Clash Mini, in Ireland. This new spin on the popular franchise brings a cuter style of art, using chibi versions of characters and introducing some very child-friendly vibes to Clash, which was already pretty easy on the grittiness.
The Clash series is one that you’ve surely heard of, regardless of if you play it or not. With Clash of Clans specifically being one of all time biggest mobile games out there, followed up with Clash Royale which was nearly equally successful, Supercell is no stranger to making great games.
And they’re looking to continue this pattern with the new Clash Mini, which takes the base-building PvP gameplay the series is known for and turns it on its hand. Instead, Clash Mini lands somewhere between Teamfight Tactics and any given card game, as the general gameplay loop is creating a deck of units to place on a board, which will then auto-battle the opposing player’s units for you.
This makes it somewhat of an auto chess sort of game, but there are a lot of strategies that go into building teams using popular units from the series as you try to climb the ladder and become a top-ranked player. Over time, you can upgrade your units, re-roll the ones that pop up within your three playable units a round (these rotate in and out, acting like a deck of sorts), and unlock various other ways to make your team stronger.Clash Mini is now live in IRELAND on both iOS and Android! https://t.co/utMW6Lx2Dh pic.twitter.com/Oh6JC5tajI — Clash Mini (@ClashMini) April 3, 2023
So, if you’re into the auto chess genre, you’re quite likely to love the gameplay of Clash Mini. And now, interested players within Ireland can officially download the game and get started themselves!
